Inscription
Here lyes the corpse of James SCOTT, Officer of Excise in Port Patrick who Departed this life the 16th March 1778 aged 32 years. This stone is erected to his Memory by Ann McQUISTON, his Widow. Also Jean McQUISTON, a child, her sister who died the 15thOcr 1762 aged 8 years.

- Free standing with round top. Inscription on west face with egg-and-dart border incorporating heart motifs in corners. Vertical band of leaf-and-vine decoration on sides.
